Dr. Denijal Jegić is a researcher, writer, and editor, currently based in Beirut, Lebanon. He holds a Ph.D. from the Institute for Transnational American Studies (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany). His research interests include (post)colonialism in Palestine, Zionism, and Orientalism as well as subaltern and Third World resistance in arts and literature. He is currently researching on the imagination of Palestine in the European extreme right. Recent publications include his book “Trans/Intifada – The Politics and Poetics of Intersectional Resistance” (2019). Denijal is an editor with Muftah Magazine. His commentaries and analyses have appeared in Al Jazeera, Mondoweiss, and the Palestine Chronicle, among other media outlets.
